John Swinney has become SNP leader and Scotland's First Minister after the previous incumbent Humza Yousaf resigned over a scandal.
Swinney is the 8th person to be Scottish First Minister since Scotland acquired its devolved parliament in 1999.
The role is similar to that of a US state governor...
