Jill Barber, My New Found Favourite Artist!!

I have been swept up by Jill Barber's debut album "Chances".
I have always been a fan of folk music, and she fits right in. Jill's music is also sultry and classical. Many songs include a full orchestra!! It is pleasure to the ears!!

Personally recommend the track "Old Flame" but really the whole album rocks.

The CBC here plays a lot of Jill Barber...to the point where I'm tired of her.

That said, she is good.

That's one thing I find with CBC - they'll have a favorite artist (Rufus Wainwright, Great Big Sea, Teagan and Sarah, whatever), and play the damn stuff constantly, in all sorts of different shows. Q, The Point(less), etc etc.

I understand it can be hard when radio stations over play artists......

But....... its always better to see an atrist LIVE

Jill Barber is on tour!!! She is amazing in concert.....
