And now, Ghislaine Maxwell’s family is blasting the U.S. justice system for their “brutal and degrading” treatment of the 59-year-old publishing heiress.

British socialite Maxwell is currently caged at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while awaiting trial on a slew of sex-trafficking charges and perjury.

But her big brother, Ian Maxwell, claims she is constantly watched, has dropped 20 pounds and lost “the ability to concentrate.”

“My sister is being held in the most appalling conditions and subjected to brutal and unusual treatment and yet she is a pretrial detainee,” he told Britain’s Daily Telegraph.

“This means she is innocent and she is entitled to the presumption of innocence.”

And big brother believes “she will be acquitted.”

However, Ghislaine Maxwell has been moaning about jailhouse conditions for months.

She has also denied grooming underage girls for her former paramour Epstein.

Meanwhile, the posh Manhattan townhouse owned by Epstein — who died mysteriously in a New York jail in 2019 — is slated to sell for around $50 million.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the house is one of the priciest in the Big Apple. The New York Post reported that the buyer is in finance and is not an American.

The 28,000-square-foot town home at 9 E. 71st St. went on sale in July, along with Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion.

But the Post reports that some buyers were scared off by the creepy factor.
