Jamie Lee Curtis is returning to the horror franchise that helped make her a star after signing on to reprise her role in the Halloween remake.
The actress will be back as Laurie Strode in next year’s revamp, which has been timed to tie in with the 40th anniversary of the original.
The 1978 film’s writer/director John Carpenter will executive produce and consult on the project, alongside Get Out producer Jason Blum, while Danny McBride and director David Gordon Green have written the screenplay.
Curtis made her movie debut by screaming her way through the original film.
The Halloween reboot will hit cinemas in Oct. 19, 2018.
