Well, things do get messed up over the Holidays. In the past there have been stories of mail turning up years after it was mailed. No clue where it has been in the interval.

My beef is the cost to mail parcels now. Might as well pay Purolator, UPS, or DHL for faster delivery than pay CPCs rates and have it take 10 days to get there. I recently wanted to mail a book to a friend. This is a hard cover book and 600 pages and paper is heavy but; $14.90 to take it from Grande Prairie, AB to Nelson, BC? My kid's Xmas parcel to the same area went for $28 by Greyhound rather than $52 Canada Post.
