Is Paul Martin missing a few chromosomes?

Paul Martin's great campaign companion, the ever thoughtful BUZZ Hargrove (BUZZ will do I'm sure) is at it again. No doubt with full Liberal party blessings. Here he goes suggesting Quebecers support the BLOC. In case Paul Martin has forgotten, these guys are the Separtists he will fight on every corner.

Hargrove, the president of the Canadian Auto Workers union, did not back down today on his statements -- made Wednesday while campaigning with Martin in Strathroy, Ont.

"I have great respect to the people of Quebec, and that respect extends to respecting their decisions to how they're going to vote to stop Harper, but I would hope that they would vote to stop Harper,'' he said on CTV

Paul Martin, who has said previously that fighting Separtists is in his DNA seemed to be missing a few chromosomes in coming up with this response to the latest BUZZ

... in answer to further questioning from reporters, he said: "Mr. Hargrove said clearly that in his opinion, the progressive forces, NDP, should vote Liberal. I agree with him on that. As far as Quebec is concerned, I think it's not a question of voting Bloc, I am there to ask people to vote Liberal."

But he stopped short of saying one should never vote for a separatist party as a means of defeating the Conservatives who are, at this point, leading in public opinion polls.

Have we seen bottom yet in the Liberal campaign for power and entitlements? Who knows, there are a few more days to go.
