Sublime, as of yet, the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, P.C., M.P., the Member for Calgary Southwest and the Prime Minister of Canada has refused to stand up for the Canadian Wheat Board — so I would assume he is not going to be of the greatest assistance.

Come to think of it, the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Foods has been silent, too.

He doesn't support the wheat board, because tons of western farmers despise the wheat board. You have to grow up on a western farm to really get this. Some like it, but there are a huge number who outright hate it.

famous quote from a wise man.    wonder if anyone knows where it came from.

Ferris: Not that I condone fascism, or any -ism for that matter. -Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in The Beatles, I just believe in me." Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus and I'd still have to bum rides off of people.

The CWB is a cooperative, that means the majority of it's members support it. Of course those who yell the loudest don't support it....when they become the majority they'll actually get their way. Kind of democratic, eh?
