Simon Harris, the Prime Minister (Toiseach) of Britain's nearest neighbour Republic of Ireland and leader of Fine Gael, has said that the "British-Irish relationship is really strong" and the two countries now have a "real opportunity" to "press reset".He said: "Politics aside... at the end of the day, we're neighbours, we're friends - in many cases we're family as well.
And there's an opportunity now - a real opportunity - that we must cease, and the next generation will never forgive us for if we don't, to press reset."
