THE DISCIPLES SPOKE THE WORD OF GOD: "...ye received the Word of God, which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the Word of God..." 1 Thess 2:13.
MEN ARE MARTYRED FOR THE WORD OF GOD: "And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the sould of them that were slain for the Word of God..." Rev 6:9.
My grandparents went to China as missionaries. He was arrested by Mao Tse Tung. He preached the Gospel to thousands of Communist Chinese. Meanwhile, my grandmother fled with the three young children into the wilderness. My father, a very cerebral Pathologist, said, "Bandits would ride up, slit your clothes and kill you. Out of nowhere, there was a sound of a bugle, and it scared them off. Meanwhile, my grandpa prayed and said to the Lord, "Either take me home, or set me free." That day, "someone" came, and opened the door, he thought he was going to be executed. But, instead, he lead him to the Hong Kong Harbor, he found his family and went to Singapore.
AND MOST SIGNIFICANT OF ALL- JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD: "That which is from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life..." 1 John 1:1.
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the FATHER, THE WORD, AND THE HOLY GHOST, and these three are One." 1 John 5:7.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD...and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us." John 1.
"And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and HIS NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD." Rev 19:13.
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS INVITE GOD TO DWELL IN YOUR HEART, AND HE WILL DO THAT.
