The best thing we can do to honor those soldiers is NOT leave Iraq in a mess. We have to finish what we started whether we like or not.

What the world little understands is that a great majority of Iraqis will spit at any terrorist, and that they do have a nationalism that wants America out and that is healthy because they legitimately and viscerally hate the manipulated suicidal 20 year olds.

The world is otherwise distracted sitting in their comfortable sofa.

I don't really see what the world's attention span has to do with this video. How can you not see the anguish in these soldiers? This is a weekend to honour those that serve and have served. I think it does these soldiers a great diservice not to show some of the horrors they face.

In an ideal world, bringing the soldiers home would be prefered. However ITN is right, in the sense that bringing the military home would cause a great disservice to the men & women that have sacraficed so much. Not too mention, the hardships that would be inflicted on the Iraqi people.

Unlearned Lesson

Memorial Day
Of every year
The little valiant
Flags appear

On every fallen
Soldier's grave--
Symbol of what
Each died to save.

And we who see
And still have breath--
Are we no wiser
For their death?
