1. Remain in the USMCA.
2. Unilateral global free trade within seventy years with initial steps in that direction within five years and additional steps taken every five years thereafter.
If the majority of Canadians vote option 2, Canada could still sign trade agreements with other states on the condition that those agreements do not restrict Canada's freedom to adopt unilateral global free trade in tariffs and quotas, with those agreements limiting themselves to non-tariff and non-quota matters like labelling and packaging rules, phytosanitary rules, etc.
Option 2would provide reasoanble clarity and reasonable flexibility built into its answer to ensure that Canada doesn't end up in the same mess as in the Brexit referendum. If any future government deos not like that direction, it could present another referendum on another federal election ballot to stop it; but since the referendum would call on Parliament to take some kind of step towards unilateral global free trade every five years, we'd have seen at least some improvement even if a futrue referendum puts a stop to that process. It would also give businesses more than enough time to adapt to the changes.

Canada Summer Jobs Program change not going over well with Evangelical Fellowship

Father Tim Moyle looks after three Catholic parishes in the Upper Ottawa Valley. Like other faith groups, he is upset with a new provision in the Canada Summer Jobs program. It says employers like the church have to say they agree with the Charter of Rights and "extra rights," like the right to an abortion, plus transgender issues etc. He is applying for money to hire three young people to cut lawns and do office work in the summer, but, like other faith groups, he says he can't, in good conscience, sign an application that says he agrees with this.
A change to how employers apply for funding grants for interns via the federal Canada Summer Jobs Program has The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada praying for a reversal.
The issue is Employment and Social Development Canada have added an “attestation” section to the application that requires employers to declare their core mandates do not violate the rights of humans, the charter, women’s reproductive rights, and gender-diverse and transgender Canadians rights.
(And yet- Muslim groups have no problem agreeing to the new LIE-beral values test- this IN SPITE of out spoken Muslim Imams explaining publicly why it is permissible for a Muslim to KILL gays so they cannot sin any more! But then the Quran explicitly permits Muslims to LIE in defense of Islam so we should not expect them to complain about any LIE-beral strings attached to that free money!)

Guretzki’s organization has written to Employment Minister Patty Hajdu to complain about the change and has urged others to write to their MPs.
We caught up Guretzki to explain what’s next.

Q. Why did this change even happen?
“Well, the government statement was it came about as a result of their desire to restrict pro-life groups from accessing government funding for the government grants. So that’s where it all started. But basically, they’ve made it into much bigger than that because it doesn’t even have to be a religious group, it could be private business owner who doesn’t want to agree with the government’s interpretation of values. And if they don’t want to attest, they’re disqualified from applying. The deadline is Feb. 2.”
(So LIE-berals DESPISE anti abortionists yet they REFUSE to deport CONVICTED Muslim terrorists such as the Toronto 18?)
Q. How many potential organizations are you aware of that could be affected by this change and what can they do?
“At last count, our numbers keep going up, we’re over 200 organizations and probably several 100 jobs affected of organizations that say they either won’t or feel that they’re disqualified from applying. So we’re tracking who’s actually affected. We’re asking them all to write a letter to their MP and to the minister and keep us apprised of what they’re doing. We’re doing a webinar on Jan. 25 just to inform organizations about what they should do.”
(AS of the beginning of July 2018 it seems like some THOUSANDS of summer jobs for kids have been affected by this LIE-beral bigotry! Everything from summer camps to soup kitchens have been affected- with the money such organizations used to get now being directed to Muslims instead! One has to assume the organizations that LIE-beral are screwing over were already judged as not being LIE-beral friendly to begin with- so no votes lost there! But LIE-berals do expect to BUY Muslim votes by the pork barrel full! )
Q. What’s the eventual outcome of not being able to apply?
“We’re deeply concerned for the many hundreds of organizations that will not potentially be able to carry out some of their programs. And really who’s affected are the benefactors. It’s the communities. It’s the youth. It’s the immigrant people. It’s the homeless people. It’s the poor. And many of these programs, they may be run by religious groups, but they’re not all exclusive religious programs. So a lot of those programs simply won’t happen.”
(LIE-berals claim to be worried about student debt loads but they sure have a funny way of “helping” our kids- by killing their summer job grants!)
Q. So should affected organizations not even bother applying?
“We’re encouraging people to apply anyways so that their application and rejection of the application is still documented.”
(I am thinking it will take an election and change of govt to find out how many groups LIE-berals screwed over with their values test!!!!! LIE-berals will NOT willingly divulge the truth!!!)
Q. Last week, the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops also released a statement opposing the required attestation so will there be a coordinated effort going forward?
“Yes, we’ve seen their statement and we’re in the process of trying to work together with other big groups for an inter-faith statement that’s not been created yet. But we are working on it. Hopefully, to come out in a week or so.”
(And isnt it nice that LIE-berals have listened to so many angry citizens that they have decided to slightly modify the application form for summer 2019- just before the election! And one has to ask HOW QUICKLY will they RESTORE the form to its previosu BIGOTED and distorted form AFTER that 2019 election?)
