Well, with all the negative vibes I'm getting off this forum today I think we need a happy thread.

I think I'm one lucky Lass to live in Canada. Compared to many poor countries in the world Canadians live in paradise. I have a great family, dog, husband, job, home. My health and health care is there if I needed it. I never go hungry, unless by choice, I'm warm and safe. I need not fear Males in Canadian society, I can wear a skirt and not live in fear of having myself caned or beaten by some sour faced man who's never "Gotton Any". I can practise my religion without fear and I can be proud of my mongol heritage-Scots, MicMac, English, German, now you know why I can yell so loud.

God Bless the Queen.

I've always liked this site about what Canadians have done over the years.

Canada is a great country to live in, there are a few changes we need to make, but for the most part you can't beat it.

Our beer is great! We have the best beef. We party better than any other Nation and don't even get me started about the Trailer Park Boys.

CANADA RULES!

Now if more Canadians and wannabe Canadians will read my pastes and absorb them, then it would be near perfect.

RE: I think I'm lucky to

Hi all..for the two people that might remember me..its good to be back..super busy with RSP season...than i went on holidays.

Well anyhoo...i just got back from two weeks holiday..i went to the States (all over North Carolina and Myrtle Beach to be exact). And whenever im starting to feel blah about Canada, thinking the grass is greener somewhere else..it takes a trip to the States to make me feel more patriotic.

Now don't get me wrong, i love the States..and American people are for the most part very nice (especially in the South). But with that all said... there is something i just like about canada. The way we approach people and issues. The way we treat people. The way we go about our life. The way in which we just be us.

Yah..i love Canada. And i would not want to live anywhere else.

Your pastes? Do you have a leakage problem Zoof? Where exactly is this paste excreeting from your body.

LOL

I guess I should have been more explicit and said "articles" instead of pastes.
There have been two investigations on the body leaks. Even though one specimen had a high zinc content the Federal Scientic Lab. suggested both horses be shot.

I've heard great things about Canada so cant wait to go there in 8 MONTHS WOOOOHOOOO!

Having said that....I've lived in France and I've lived in Switzerland (both of which I loved immensely) but neither one has impressed me enough to think its better than Australia or to make me consider living there permanently. So let's see how Canada fairs up.......

I'll be in Banff.....all 3 of my Canadian friends told me that if I wanna work and hang out for 3 months over the winter, then Banff is the place to go! Agree, disagree??

haha Glossy! could ya, would ya pretty please produce a best friend who golfs fer Zoofer? ... I suspect that you wouldn't really need to relinquish her permanently, as evidence abounds to support the theory that Zoofer just likes chasin' 'em... haven't really seen anything progress beyond a twofer at McDonalds yet.... lolll (sorry fer bustin yer cover Zoofer, she'd a figured it out on her own anyway lolll)

anyway Glossy, yes if you're gonna be here in the winter, Banff is the place to be for sure... you going to work in one of the hotels there? You're nineteen right?
Oh ya girl, you're gonna have some F-U-N!! I've never worked there, but I've heard the stories!! :headbang: <--- that emotie cracks me up! Also, if you're staying in Banff, you're only a short drive to Calgary for some weekends of fun, and a couple hours from Jasper.... if you think you're gonna make it to Edmonton, let me know, I'll tell ya some fun places to check out...

canada is a nice place to visit but when comparing it to the rest of the western world it falls short. the geography is great to experience but the political correctness and large proportion of creationists create a culture based on being "nice" without content. this hardly matters if you are usually intoxicated during a visit there. europe and australia are impossible to beat.

Who is being nice Blooper?
Are you always intoxicated?
Are you a female?
Do you golf?
Are you married?
Are you French?

Welcome by the way. Your first post stinks. Try again.

I'll have you know I did snag a couple in my time. Not together. Cheeseburgers are comfort food. Some women need comforting. Do you really know how comforting it is for a woman to look at the flag, select a mashie rather a niblick, knowing she selected the correct club for that particular shot?
