This is only a problem for people who live in rural areas.
Funny thing is, no matter how much you repeat that lie it's just not true and won't be no matter how many times you repeat it.
Let's take a look at Innisfil for example. A small community just north of Toronto and it has the 5th highest hydro rates in the province. But the Toronto ratepayer, despite the benefit of density, pays only pennies a month less than those in Innisfil for the same amount of hydro. Toronto has the 6th highest hydro rates in the province. The average hydro bill in Innisfil for 1000 kWH of hydro use is $205.76 (before the GAF, delivery, and hook up charges). Toronto Hydro average bill is $205.61. Hell, Sioux Lookout has cheaper hydro rates than Toronto. Ever heard of Alfred, Ontario? How about Hawkesbury? Both are small, rural communities and both have cheaper hydro rates than Toronto.
But by all mean, please do continue to tell us how this is only a problem for rural residents. I love it when you display your gross lack of knowledge about anything.
