MONTREAL – The husband of one of the Canadian victims of last week’s terror attack in Burkina Faso said he hung up on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau when he called to offer his condolences.


Yves Richard’s wife Maude Carrier, 37, was one of six Quebecers and 30 victims in total killed when al-Qaida gunmen attacked a restaurant and hotel in the capital of Ouagadougou.


He told the Montreal radio station 98.5 FM that he took offense when Trudeau called him Monday afternoon to express his sympathy. He said Trudeau’s message sounded like a “cassette” and he did not appreciate Trudeau calling the victims a source of Canadian pride.


“I asked him to stop his political blather … I told him they didn’t do (their charitable works) to make Canadians proud but because they were fundamentally good people,” Richard said.

I know this may sound repetitious as we have other posts about this but it needs to be said again.

Burkina Faso is a Muslim Country.

Anyone willing to go to these places and ends up in trouble will not get any sympathy from me.

There are lot's of non Muslim countries they, as Christian missionaries, can go to.

I'm not suggesting they were killed because they were Christian as it seems to have been a case of a random attack and they were in the wrong place at the wrong time but why would they take a chance going to a Muslim country.

Just remember that if there is a terrorist attack here in Canada, my feelings will be any of those killed voted for Justin Trudeau won't get any of my sympathy.

If you're stupid enough to vote for someone who on a regular basis visits a mosque with ties to radical Islam, you deserve to be exterminated by those same policies you voted for.

There ARE terrorist attacks in Canada now. They just haven't reached a bigger scale --- yet!
Trudeau is aiding and abetting terrorists by pandering to Muslims,refusing to aid in the fight against terrorism and vowing to tear apart the measures put in place previously to aid national security.
All those who voted for him and still think he's the 'cat's meow' have their heads so far up their axxes they'll never see the harm he's doing. I think even when we're all jobless, penniless and dominated by Islamic law they'll find some reason to excuse the Liberals.
JLM is absolutely right! They deserve whatever they get; just too bad that the rest of us have to suffer for their foolishness.
