GUT is a model in which at high energy,
the three force: electromagnetic, weak, and strong
are merged into one single force.

There is a strong conception that everything begin from
something ONE (!) : force, space, substance . . . .
And later this single something ONE can develop into
another substances.
For example:
Before a time classified as a Planck time, 10-43 seconds,
all of the four fundamental forces are presumed to have been
unified into one force. All matter, energy, space and time are
presumed to have exploded outward from the original
singularity.

The physicists who work in GUT field make their job
vice versa. They don’t explain: ‘Where did these three
force: electromagnetic, weak, and strong come from?’,
but they took many forces in hope to unite them
into one force at high energy . (!)
In my opinion they explain

Where did the ‘high energy’ in the Nature come from?
What is source of the ‘high energy’ in the Nature ?
