Another cool Toronto time travel story centered on 177 Front St E the corner of Front and Sherbourne, which was once Palace and Caroline. This intersection was waterfront property and this lot was in the water in 1796. see below
In the 1880's, the site had a major Canadian chemical maker's R&D lab - Lyman Bros Chemical Works.
The firm used this area as a storage space and possibly a research and development area.
Canadian bottle collectors seek the apothecary bottles.
