Pres. Bush has given AG Roberto Gonzales a vote of confidence after his testimony to congress.

That, despite all others seeing a total guilty look on Gonzales in that testimony to congress last week, has the Pres. repeating himself with the "Your doing a heck of a job" to anyone who will go that extra mile conspiring to advance the Bush agenda.

Bush is really saying to these minions of his: "you lied so well, thanks for doing that, I know your neck is on the line in helping to install our people in all the right places so that I won't be hanged for treason, or even be impeached - heck of a job". And Bush has the guts to do it on national television, because people actually swallow that sh*t when he shows such confidence [easily swayed minds].

quotes:

GWB to MDB-"Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job."

GWB to his father-"Daddy, you did a heck of a job as President."

Right-wing Fascist types to whoever will listen-"GWB is doing a heck of a job."

and "Heck of a job, Wolfie" - World Bank President on the Bush team

This one's been given lots of play in the media. But shouldn't AG's and their staff have the right to hire and fire at leisure for such posts? I should think it happens all the time in western democracies. Certainly, during regime changes in Canada we're accustomed to house cleanings despite the merit of those affected. Politics and the myriad positions of the machinery of governance are prone to such behaviour.

George tenet, when he was head of the CIA, which most of the people point the agency for 9-11, and the fiasco in iraq, yet he received the "Medal of Liberty" go figure.

They are laughing at the americans, and the entire world.
