I'm considering taking a Heavy Equipment Operators course here in Winnipeg and then finding a job in Northern Alberta .
The problem is that this course will cost me $15,000.00 to take.
So my question is that is it worth my while to shell out the cash to take this course ?? Or am I just better off heading out there with my class 1 ??
And are employers in Norhern Alberta that offer employees on-site job training or "apprentice" programs in various trades etc. ?? And if there are companies that do this ..... does anyone have any names? Thanks a bunch !!
