Looks like psychological outlook also plays a factor in maintaining a healthy cardiovascular system.

Very interesting article. After I lost almost every member of my family in one year, the doctor and I discussed how it was affecting my health (badly). So, stress over a long period of time can wear you right down. In fact, he sent me to a heart specialist, and everything was OK. He was worried about me.

You've heard that phrase "worried to death." Well, that could apply too.

It doesn't pay to get stressed, Been There. Stress (or lack of it) plays a major factor in staying healthy. I personally don't get stressed very often and even then, I just brush it off. It is for the most part entirely psychological. You have to ask yourself, by getting stressed, does your situation (the reason why you are stressed) improve? The answer is no, so there is no reason to add a stress problem on top of your already existing one. You simply need to convince yourself that adding stress will not improve your situation.
