Alberta Premier Ed Stelmach’s family farmhouse was broken into Thursday morning, at a time when no one was home.
Stelmach learned of the break-in from the RCMP, who were alerted when an alarm went off in the home, located just outside the village of Andrew, the premier’s spokesman Tom Olsen said Thursday.
Although it’s not known whether the premier’s farm was specifically targeted, Olsen said the incident was "disturbing," nonetheless.
