Canada, I would presume.
RE: Grits' Leadership Con

orpheus, members of the party cannot register to become candidates until April 6, 2006 (the date when the regulations governing the campaign are to be set in stone by the National Executive of the Liberal Party of Canada) so, unfortunately, we may not have an "official" list of candidates until one or two weeks afterward.

I should have clarified. There is only one person who has given word that he/she will be running. And that person is Findlay.

Well I hope so for people like you Paradox who believe in the Liberal party and their lies. But I hope your not right so the NDP can push the Liberals out of the way to really make these elections interesting with a big centre left and a big centre right party going at it. Razz Only a scant 126 seats the NDP need to gain next election. Laughing
You do know that the NDP are going to have to cooperate with the Liberal party if they want to accomplish anything substantial in this government, right? Politics makes for strange bedfellows.

Micheal Ignattief is the man for the job. Hes a harvard scholar, PhD in political science, and is well known around Canada, and is very intelligent. HE has a vision for the liberal party, and he does not have a history with the liberal party for too long, so that cannot be used against him...

Ew ew ew ew. Michael Ignatieff hasn't even SAT IN PARLIAMENT. How can he possibly lead the Liberal Party of Canada? Hell, he's barely Canadian. He's a disaster with the press, and I am yet to hear his "vision" for the party. I'd like to see him actually perform before I have him leading my party of choice, of which I am a card-carrying member.
