At nearly 40-years old George Foreman returned to boxing after more than decade layoff with a goal to fight Mike Tyson for the Heavyweight championship. In my opinion this is one of the most amazing sports stories.
The first video clip is his 20th fight at age 41 on his journey back vs Gerry Cooney. This 1990 fight is considered one of the best knockouts of all-time. (The fireworks start around 7:00 minutes into clip)
Shortly after Mike Tyson lost to Buster Douglas which screwed up the schedule. It wasn't until age 45 in 1994 that he finally got his chance to fight for the championship. An older, slower Foreman. The second clip shows the 10th round and dramatic ending to the fight. He was losing badly up to that point, when he connected with a punch that apparently broke Michael Moorers mouthpiece in half.
Too bad he didn't get a chance to bust up Tyson.
