All grandmother Terry Horder wanted to do was ease her aching eyes with some drops.

But the 78-year-old Australian ended up in hospital when she used superglue by mistake and glued her eyelids together.

Nurses used vegetable oil to remove the glue. "About 10 minutes later, I was good as new," said Horder, who lives in Wurtulla.
