So what if Global is biassed. Just go on-line, and you'll find hundreds of free on-line publications to choose from; it's not like Global's got a monopoly on the news now, is it.

Now as for the CBC, that's another matter. Seeing that it's crown property, it ought to stick to the facts.

I noticed that during the Martin government, Global always criticised the government. They were even smiling when the house fell in November 2005. Now, they keep on reporting about the things HARPER is doing and praising him. This bias needs to stop immediately.

Maybe Martin just sucked?

I think the Harper regime is trying to look as middle of the road as possible, but it may not be enough. I think the Tories missed the boat on climate change, the had a lousy policy, and it hurt them because they couldn't then argue what a disaster Koyota would have been.
Harper should have attended the aids conferences, and he never should have pushed the daycare package he did.
Look at the other side of the coin here, on crime, the government has made some progress, on agricultural issues the Tories have done ok, at least they have taken some posititve steps.
Their attitudes on youth crime are a little out of step but not totally off they wall as many feared they would be.
I am critical of their pro Americanism on the international issues, as I believe we need a made in Canada foreign policy, and we must take a stronger stand on trade issues instead of giving in on things like softwood lumber.
I am not a conservative, I am in fact probably more NDP than anything, however, I don't think everything they've done is bad. Now would I support the Tories, in the next election, probably not, and certainly not as long as Harper or Peter MacKay were leaders of the party
