Well global warming wont just ruin the specie habitat it will also ruin ours. Global warming is melting the south and north ice cap at a alarming rate. One of the southern tip of alaska was a ice shell but in a few weeks it was gone. The problem is that fresh water melts and cuts right into them middle of the shelf thus cracking it and lubricating the bottom the of the bed rock that holds the ice shelf in place. This causes a huge problem for the ice shelf to be stable enough to stay there thus making it weaker and weaker until it breaks. The ice shelf sadly wont be able to hold off this slicing by the fresh water even for a year. Now as I was saying once the ice breaks of course it raises the sea level thus putting pressure on the city dikes and flooding other citys like Venice. These are a few places that would be under water. Richmond B.C my home and also Manhattan. Miami is one of the city that also will be flooded. New Orleans sadly will also be flooded. Thus most coastal places would flood.

This is a study way out of my range of knowledge and I have a question....

Who measures these countries? Do they each measure their own nation or is there a group of scientists who in a cooperative study measure each nation using the same devices and stats?

Is there one level playing field or are countries submitting their own data unchecked by others? Do we rely on the Kyoto Protocol only overseen by the U.N. to produce these stats? If so, I want an independent international study - apolitical or non political thank you, which does not reduce "liability" in monetary contributory format.

I make my own personal submissions to the "cause" if there is one therefore I feel I am not a contributor and am utilizing my fair share in comparison with my peer group - plus I'm not going to do a Ghandi until I see some realistic and comprehensive data.
(so there)!

About how scientist measure im not really sure but i do have a general basic knowledge of it. The epa which is the Usa Enviromental Protection Agency is a group that focus on solving Global warming it uses a measurment that is far beyond my knowledge but i can tell you it uses tons and pounds in measuring the gas being emitted into Earth. You can visit their site for more information they have a huge report on how much gases was emitted into Earth in the last few decades. All these reports were created by the help of Usa companies, military, and etc. Hope this helps
