I have seen a flying clam...mind you it was dark...and there was loud music and drink...

I've seen many a flying worm.....sort of like a flying baby anaconda...come to think of it.

The worms all think they're anacondas once they have a few drinks ya know.

Are you talking about those mysterious things that fly and show up in photos?
yeah. I realize the squids can't really be rods because the rods are fast and often appear away from water and in some cases high up in the air.
