Talk about a pain in the butt.
Halifax police issued a warning Monday that a pair of fishhooks were inserted into a toilet paper roll in a transit terminal bathroom, with the apparent intent to do harm.
The tampered TP was discovered by a man Saturday. Police say he was unhurt.
"This appears to be an isolated incident but we ask that anyone who finds any foreign metal objects in toilet paper rolls refrain from throwing out the toilet paper roll or metal object," and turn them over to police instead, cops asked in a release Monday.
Earlier this summer, nails were found in potatoes being processed on Prince Edward Island.
A culprit was never found, despite a $500,000 reward.
