RE: Favorite Books and Au

I like Piers Anthony.

I also like some of Robert J. Sawyer's books.

And I LOVE Spider Robinson's writing. He lives in Vancouver and so do I. My dad has met him once, I believe.

Hey Andygal ... If you like Spider, you'd also like Christopher Moore. Try "Bloodsucking Fiends" and "Practical Demon Keeping". They are laugh-out-loud funny.

"My Life", Bill Clinton. Interesting, although he sure does a lot of name-dropping.

I'm still trying to decide if it's "fiction" or "non-fiction".

LMAO!

Am just finishing reading Hunter S. Thompson's "Better Than Sex". Of course, he is referring to the Great Game of Politics and no one ever knew the game like he did :(

A ten (ish) book series is all you are reading right now?

The Wheel of Time series is my favorite. I'm having to replace all my books right now because, between me and some friends, they've all been read close to ten times.

I'm also a big fan of 1984.

RE: Favorite Books and Au

Anne Tyler - I read The Amateur Marriage earlier in the week and I'm halfway through Breathing Lessons right now.

Has anyone read her new one? When I have some money to spare I'm going to buy it.
