One way or the other Argentine will one day occupy Las Islas Malvinas.

The most Briddish part of the so-called 'Falkland Islands' is the propensity for crooked & stained teeth-see pics as linked for details.

The most British part of the islands is the blood shed by British Royal Marines defending their people from the fascism of Argentina.

The Islands will still be British in 100 years from now.

You REALLY don't know what you are talking about do you??

Bludger-Aussie slang for a lazy person;"A boss would say "get back to work you lazy bludgers!!"

The Islanders are gonna be paying their way....and then some. While you read this, consider that they could have voted to go for independence.......from either entity.
Thanks for the laugh especially since those exploratory holes proved to be dry and the truth is it was all hype.

Again-the few thousand hillbilly bludgers count for ZIP-ask the Chagos Islanders about it.

Seems you are unable to read either....from the article cited in my post below.

"There are an estimated 60 billion barrels of oil around the Falklands basin worth $167 billion dollars in royalties and taxes for the Falklands' government which will receive 26 percent of the profits from companies drilling for oil and nine percent royalties on every barrel sold, according to U.K.-based Edison Investment Research.

Oil Companies Undeterred

Indeed, after finding oil in 2010, the oil company Rockhopper Exploration, teamed with Premier Oil in a 600 million pound ($900 million) deal to drill the Sea Lion oilfield in the Falklands north basin, estimated to hold around 300 million barrels of oil worth more than $30 billion."

This from the BreX Kool Aid drinkers.

The Briddish never lie-just ask the Chagos Islanders.

Only if they are to have their planes shot out of the sky by RAF Typhoons and their ships blown out of the water by RN hunter-killers. They have no chance. Even when the British Army is shrunk in the cuts, it will still be twice as large as the Argentinean Army. They cannot beat Britain militarily. I think that is well known.

Yeah, but they will beat you in the war of attrition.

It will be just like the US and Mexico. You will think you have won but you won't think about the slow trickle of Argentinians until it is already their land. By then, nobody will even care that the history books don't tell the whole story...

You're missing the point-but that's to be expected in this most parochial of cyber backwaters.

For your edification look @ how long La Reconquista took but the fact is that the territory in question is effectively re-conquered.

You're an idiot.

I just thought someone should tell you, as you seem unaware.

Wow-what blazing wit and rapier like repartee!

Sadly you have never lived in Latin America like I have and speak no Spanish/have no idea of the long term memories inhabitants there hold.

I note that you completely ignore my mention of La Reconquista-which in Las Islas Malvinas has already started with the 20 Argentines who live there now.

One Fine Day the Argentine flag will fly over Las Islas Malvinas but you/your sour crew will have long be consigned to the cold, cold ground.
