Regarding the very good article written by Canadian Content staff regarding free email and 1 GB of free email.

http://www.canadiancontent.net/tech/computing/21/

It is not new that some companies are offering 1 GB of email. I have been using one that gives me 1 GB email, 50 MB storage, Calandering and so on for almost a year. Also they have a lot of other goodies on their site especially for the Mac user. You can check you email from your home email program, or you vcan use webmail to check messages. The best part is that you can synhcronize your other email into one.

If anyone interested in 1 GB of Email and a lot more, just say so. I'll be happy to tell you.

Well if you want something free of popups and ads and you can forward all your email to, then you have to pay. It is a very small price for 2GB/year.

But I like the way you put it. HAHHA PAY?????

It made me look like a fool. LOL

I agree. But I do need more room as I transfering all my email to one account. This way I can check all my mail from Yahoo, even telus mail.

I just bought a domain name and some cheap hosting, and for about $30 a year, I have setup my family and friends with our own email which can be accessed using an email client or web browser. No advertising, very little spam, easy to use, will not expire if you don't check it all the time, and I control everything. I will never use free email again.
Why would anyone use Gmail, when google admits to storing your emails, never deleting them, and scanning them for advertising? I guess privacy just isn't an issue with some people.

RE: Exploring free email:

I love the Gmail service, the 2GB email is far in excess of what I need, but I like to archive important e-mails, before I was storing them in outlook in a PST file, and Burning them every few months.

If anyone WANTS a Gmail account, send me an e-mail to Ken.Dennis@Gmail.com and I'll send you an invite, I've got about 45 left.

Cheers,
