Yup. The lead stories on the business news are about pharmaceuticals and consumer spending though.

The Republicans very much want to put corporations in charge of the US. If the US economy collapses they will have succeeded.

Meanwhile our leading Canadian politicians figure that throwing our lot in even further with the US is a good idea. I'm betting the Canadian will see the big hit coming just before we nailed too. It'll be too late, but people will finally notice.
