hmmm, I think they will discover that constant vibrations will affect the fish negatively. Fish have a "stripe" down their sides that feels for water motion. This is why it's near impossible to "sneak" up on a fish. The constant vibrations, imo, would keep the stress of fight or flight continuous.

Well, maybe they also feel the water motion for food...the vibrating equivalent of "Dinnah Is Served".

I believe a fifth fret harmonic on the g-string would do it.
