Do Canadians really care about the US?

The United States is our neighbour to the South, our ally, our largest trading partner, our most frequent international destination, but do we really care about them?

Canadians take interest in the US on issues that may impact them, either by trade and military for instance and we care during extraordinarily events like 9-11. But do we really care what goes on down there?

Do Canadians in one province even care about other Canadians in other provinces or territories?

How many questions did you just ask? Three, I believe.... from THIS Canadian I say, yes, yes, and yes. Be reminded about what Trudeau said about "sleeping next to an elephant".

We are far too dependent on each other to play the silly "I can do without YOU!" game anymore.... anyone who thinks so should give their head a shake.
