Martin Barrett and barmaid Lizzy Peeling run The Oak Inn in New Forest
Barmaid Lizzie Peeling, 24, an ex-showjumping groom, said: “She stood there as if wanting a pint. She had a rope collar, so I used that to push her out.
“She didn’t want to go, then got her bum stuck in the door, so I got her to do a three-point turn.”
The pony and two pals later hung around outside The Oak Inn in Lyndhurst, Hampshire.
It is in the New Forest, where 5,000 ponies roam free.
Lizzie had already shooed three from the car park on her way into work.
She said: “It was nice to go back to my old job for a few minutes.”
