The Lebanese-Australian man who took his Canadian children to Lebanon despite not having custody of them won't pursue charges against his estranged wife for grabbing them back if she agrees to hand the kids over, his lawyer says.

Those poor kids. How terrifying to be snatched back and forth like that. The article referred to the video tape that the mercenaries had with them. Can you imagine how scared those children would have been from the time they were grabbed until the time they got to see the video? How scared they must have been to realize their dad was taking them away? Their lives will never be the same, no matter which parent gets them in the end.

She was granted custody of the girls in Canada... most Canadian custody cases now ask the children as part of the decision process, so someone may have already asked them. It doesn't mean the father cared when he kidnapped them.
