There is a new list of crimes making headlines such as home invasion, road rage, air rage, identity theft, HIV assault, computer pornography and pedophilia, and terrorism-related offences. New crimes are added to the list every year, some as brutal as any violent crimes of yesteryear, many as new as modern technology inspires.

At the beginning of the new millennium, in June 2001, a symposium on new crimes was convened by the Australian Institute of Criminology in Canberra. Dr. Adam Graycar, the institute's director, presented a paper in which he said:
"The old adage is that crime follows opportunity, and there are certainly new opportunities created by new technologies, new forms of organization, and new markets. This creates a situation in which there are both new offenders and new victims. Sometimes the victims do not even know that they are victims, or the extent to which they have been victimized."

Bush committed the same crime that Hitler did to Austria and Poland and used precisely the same excuse as self justification. Hitler was said to have committed a crime. Bush is said by many to have committed justice.

Same crime. But one was punished and the other lauded.
