Chinese Malware Hits Guam, Aiming for Taiwan? | China In Focus

Under #attack? Critical U.S. infrastructure—infiltrated. All fingers pointing to state-sponsored Chinese #hackers. Microsoft warning the attack singled out the U.S. island territory of Guam, raising national security concerns. But was Taiwan the intended target? That's due to Guam being the centerpiece of any U.S. military response to a Taiwan invasion. And it goes further. The U.S. and allies warn this could be happening globally.

US 'Nuclear Umbrella' to Cover Taiwan? | China In Focus

#Weapons of mass destruction may be on the table for a certain Indo-Pacific #island. Reports say Taiwan could be in talks to come under Washington's "nuclear umbrella." That would trigger the United States to retaliate in kind if Taiwan were to come under nuclear attack from Beijing. For decades, the U.S. nuclear umbrella has shielded Japan, South Korea, and Australia. There are mixed reactions to the reported proposal, with some saying it would help boost Taiwan's security while others are more cautious.

CCP Leadership in Panic Mode After Shocking Arrest! | Crossroads

There has been a profound shift in relations between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The significance of this can’t be understated, yet it appears to have gone largely unnoticed. This is bigger than U.S. sanctions on high-tech chips. This is bigger than the previous arrests of Chinese spies. This hits on something deeply held by the CCP as one of its core interests, and changes a seemingly unspoken agreement in America to leave the issue untouched. It was easy to miss. On May 26, two suspected Chinese spies were arrested by U.S. authorities. The Department of Justice said in a release that John Chen and Lin Feng were charged in a bribery scheme that was directed by the Chinese authorities. They face charges of conspiracy, bribery, and money laundering. What matters most though is the story behind these charges. The two were allegedly involved in a CCP plot against Falun Gong right here in the United States. They’re accused of trying to bribe an IRS official to go after an entity tied to Falun Gong practitioners. But this is a case not just about the CCP exporting one of its largest human rights abuses onto American soil. This is a case of the American government taking a stand where it previously would not...

The CCP Targeted My Mother & Sister Because I Dance with Shen Yun: Steven Wang | CLIP

"The #CCP…went to find my sister and my mother and threatened them. They would say, 'Your son is abroad with Shen Yun. You must tell us everything about his activities.'" The Chinese regime has long targeted Steven Wang's family members in China for practicing the spiritual discipline of Falun Gong. And the persecution only worsened after he joined Shen Yun Performing Arts as a principal dancer. They said he was a "threat to national security." Wang's mother was recently sentenced to four years in prison.

In other news, as a potential solution to determine which online content is created by AI versus which is created by humans, lawmakers are proposing that AI-created content should be labeled. And meanwhile, Congress is responding to recent whistleblower claims that the Pentagon has been reverse-engineering downed UFOs for weapons programs. Lawmakers are now calling for deeper transparency on the alleged programs.
