The King has met Bank of England governor Andrew Bailey at Buckingham Palace to be presented with banknotes featuring his portrait.
Charles III has been on the Throne for 18 months and the first banknotes featuring his portrait enter circulation on 5th June.
The first coins bearing the King's image, showing images of British wildlife on their reverse sides, are also entering circulation.
Incredibly, it's the first time there's been a change of monarch on the banknotes as Queen Elizabeth II was the first monarch to appear on them in 1960.
On the reverse sides of each note are:
£5: Winston Churchill
£10: Jane Austen
£20: JMW Turner
£50: Alan Turing
