CD/DVD RW drive

I know nothing about them. Now that I've accepted the fact that Dell isn't going to do anything, is there anything I should keep in mind when buying one?


Also, is there such a thing as a S/Video converter - I have no port on my maching, onld USB ports.

From what I saw last time they were, but I had a Mac soo........

Anything about the specs I should be aware of?

You shouldn't have to spend more than $60.00 if your just looking to write to DVD, or watch moivies etc.
