I can't believe Don Cherry cracked the top ten. He's even ahead of Wayne Gretzky in the final rankings. :(

I don't really have any problem with the rest of the rankings, although I personally feel Sir Frederick Banting or Alexander Graham Bell should have been number 1.

Well, Tommy Douglas deserves this position. He doesn't have a statue or anything, so atleast he has a trophy issued by a television network. :roll:

Happy to see it wasn't someone else who might have gotten it.

I nominated Cecil Darke. He wasn't just our local town drunk, he was easily the greatest town drunk in the entire nation. Strangely,though,no one agreed with me.Don't misunderstand me, we had several other town drunks,just not with the savoir faire that Cecil possessed!
