exNDP MP is petitioning the International Court to include Canada in the investigation into war crimes committed in Afghanistan. This is a much-needed inclusion. If Canadians were turning prisoners over to be tortured it would constitute a breech of our core values. We need to be rigorous about establishing that we do not do this and that all our people understand that we do not do this and that everybody understands that they will face consequences when caught doing this.
