Britain wants to increase her stockpile of nuclear weapons and to replace her current stock with more advanced ones by 2030.

Here are the scientists who are tasked with making Britain's new nuclear weapons. They were met by British Defence Secretary John Healey.

Nuclear powers like Great Britain have been banned from test firing their ultimate and most deadly weapons, so how do they test them?

Britain also wants to bring back the capability of air delivered nukes for the first time since 1998, rather than solely relying on submarines.

Britain will fire her nukes upon a country in self-defence and in extreme circumstances. It makes it unlikely that a foreign nation will attempt to conquer the country. Great Britain is one of the few countries that have the power to obliterate entire nations.

Why would a nuclear power willingly give nuclear weapons to another country? The countries that have such vast power tend to keep it to themselves and don't like other countries to have the technology and know-how to create that power for themselves.
