Almost five years since Britain seceded from the EU, today the two powers met for talks with the British telling the EU they have no plans to rejoin.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer reiterated that Britain will not rejoin the EU and will not bring back EU freedom of movement as he held talks with EU leader Ursula von der Leyen in EU capital Brussels.
It seems that Britain is quite enjoying being a sovereign state outside the EU. Funny that.
Meanwhile both Britain and the EU confirmed their support for Israel.
