In the dying embers of the British Empire Britain has ceded the Chagos Islands to Mauritius.
Unlike previous times where we've let a land become independent on this occasion we've just given it to another country. So we've given it up but it's not independence. It's now ruled by the Mauritians (good luck).
Chagos is a base for the RAF and USAF.
The move is supported by the Biden Administration but has been condemned by the Republicans.
However, there is hope that the handover of the islands to Mauritius by the Far Left Labour Traitors may be overturned by a Commons vote.
