BREAKING NEWS: Five dead as high-speed train derails near French city
The crash involved a TGV train which apparently caught fire leaving the tracks. Pictures on Twitter appear to show flames coming from the rail-side.
Another image shows carriages, including the front of the train, in a river.
The incident has happened just hours after 127 people died in a series of terror attacks in Paris.
In August there was also a terror attack on a French train but the gunman was overpowered by America marines travelling onboard.
