Bowling for Columbine.

It answers many of the questions and statements made in this thread. Powerful and to the point.

I am sure many of the intelligent posters here have already seen it, but if you have not, its worth the money to see in the theatre - if its still there in your neck of the woods.

Dont hesitate. I did the same thing and I kicked myself for not seeing it earlier. Very eye opening on the differences between America and Canada, especially when it comes to violence via the gun.

Okay... I've seen the movie.. I have to say it's really good, a part from the strong left-wing sentiment on other issues apart from gun control. I have more to say on the movie, but ill do a bigger review when I have more time :)

Andem, where did you get those gun figures from? They say a lot.

On what evidence do you think OBL was involved in 911?

Over the last 100 yrs up till 2001, the US military has "intervened" in 135 countries.

the numbers are true. Sad but true. Same thing goes for the nasty outline of american double-crosses and skullduggery.
