Looks like things around here have slowed down... LuShes has been busy, Haggis is busy for the next few weeks, AV seems to be gone and there's just not that spart here anymore! So I wanted to see if anyone has some ideas to bring the fun back into CC Forums.

We have some games which have sort of died down, but that's not the problem! It's just slowed down by having less users joining us.

Yes, it's a little boring for the month of August... so anyone have some ideas?

Post your reply!

8) :) :D  :x :p

Lushes, It's great to see you as always; Welcome back.

Peapod, the answer to your question would always be Hell Yeah

undergradNITZ, It's prolly that twisted little mind that keeps you awake at night, in the fetal position, sucking your thumb and crying  just kidding

Now Prometheus you knpw what you suggest is a crime. Peapod has no criminial record, and if she had one she would be out of a job. Buy what bevvy says is true, alot of people walk around smoking pot on the island and probally Vancouver to. The Pot Patrol has they are known here are not interested, they are on two bigger fish....I just read that a grow operation they found near Port hardy, was so thick, they had to use chain saws to cut it down. Its all those clearcuts they created, perfect for planting Pot. I would not be surprised if it took over like the yellow broom has. I think that might make alot of people happy.

Just so you know islanders do not need big fish stories, reality is way more exciting around here. Now was that a big fish story about the the Pot having to cut down with chain saws? Nope! Soon they will be logging the stuff it grows so well around here. My brother says he would like to go back into falling if it was Pot they were harvesting. See for yourself my friend, read it and weep for the poor buggers that have to live on this rock

I would post more, but I'm quite busy. It is the summer after all. I'm not even in Montreal atm, so not on my own comp. I'm gonna have more time in a few months. Maybe in october. Right now though, too busy.

Numure,

If you please, would you contact André Marchand, leader of La Bottine Souriante, on my behalf to determine what make and model of guitar he prefers, and what strings?

Thank you.

Ah, la Bottine Souriante. Old group... they sing folk if I'm not mistaken.

I wrote to the group's manager at the website, but I wrote in English, and I received no reply. I'd consider it a real favor if you would contact them for me. Here's a link:

You Quebecers are awful snooty about your language, eh?

I've been thinking about buying a guitar and getting my callouses back. It's been a while. Martin guitars are nice. I love the sound of whatever it is that Marchand plays. We have a traditional, Celtic/folk music scene here. I'd love to sit in with a band, but first I need an instrument. Help me out.

lol to my last post...no i dont but its just an expression my friends use...its kinda like saying it makes me sad...or lonely....or sorry for yourself....if your talking to someone about something and u say "no" he/she might go "you make me cry at night"...to make him seem lonely or left out...

I'll check out what I can do.
