I have a really crappy eMachine eTower 466id here and when it boots it locks up. If I disable Internal Cache in the BIOS it boots fine, but runs extremely slow. This is the original eTower 466id and I am looking for a BIOS update for it. It's really starting to piss me off.. thanks

The 466id is a Celeron 466Mhz CPU, came standard with 64MB RAM, and Win98. Video installed was only 4MB. Drive was a 8GB.
It will only support a maximum of 256MB RAM.

this prob wont happen to u or might not even apply to you but...my dad was like oh the bios needs to be updated...so not trusting him i backed everything! on my comp..and i was like ok...so he had this floppy supposidly with the update so he did it and it totaly wiped out my HD so i was like good fucken thing i backed everything up...but...for some reason it actually updated it...
