Economist/YouGov Poll: Biden Approval Collapses to 39 Percent

By Eric Mack | Wednesday, 08 September 2021 10:07 PM

The approval ratings of President Joe Biden "overall and on his handling of major issues, have all fallen, dramatically in some cases," according to the latest Economist/YouGov poll, which was released Wednesday.
Just 39% approve of Biden's overall job performance and a near majority (49%) disapprove; the 10-point negative rating is the first time Biden has been underwater during his eight-month presidency, according to the poll results.
The collapse in the overall approval rating represents a six-point drop in just one week, and Democrats were even more inclined to drop their approval in a nine-point swing, from 86% down to 77%.

If you use lefty math, 39%is rock solid majority.

Poll: Biden's Approval Sinks to 44 Percent — His Lowest Yet

Public approval of President Joe Biden has dropped to the lowest level of his presidency, with Americans appearing to be increasingly critical of his response to the coronavirus pandemic, according to the latest Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.

The national poll, conducted Sept. 15-16, found that 44% of U.S. adults approved of Biden’s performance in office, while 50% disapproved and the rest were not sure.

Biden’s popularity has been declining since mid-August as the U.S.-backed Afghan government collapsed and as COVID-19-related deaths surged across the country.
