VICTORIA (NEWS1130) - NDP MLA Leonard Krog is worried the case about a raid on the BC Legislature five years ago may be dismissed before the trial even begins.
Krog says it's remarkable that a case can go five years with only hearings, yet a trial date has yet to be set.
He says there's a chance it may never be heard in front of a judge.
Ministerial aides David Basi and Bobby Virk were both charged with breach of trust and fraud in connection with the $1 billion sale of BC Rail to CN Rail.
Basi's cousin Aneal Basi, a communications officer at the time was charged with money laundering.
